3.5" downpipe question

Hello, just wondering if a 3.5" downpipe will hurt performance on my car? I can get a barely used one, that is local to me for a good price. My mods are in my sig. Thanks for any responses.

Sure it just causes clearence problems possibly around the a-arm & frame

Mine is a snug fit but it works, I have new motor mounts and an engine brace so that helps. If you have tired front springs it will absolutely hit the a arm, and it will cook the a arm bushing a lot faster than a smaller one. It was on my car when I bought it, not something I would have chosen but I'm not gonna replace it either. If it's cheap go for it, just don't expect a world of difference.
