Virgin off-center 3.8 Stage 2 block. I acquired it around 1998.

3.54" bores
Lifter bores drilled/tapped for oiling.
Provision to install an internal oil pick-up.
Cam bearings installed.
Line-honed in 1997 (according to tag).
Head-locator dowels.
4-bolt center mains. Caps 1-3 steel, rear cap cast.
Light surface rust can be cleaned up easily.

$2250 plus shipping (FedEx Freight from zip 79404; ~175 pounds with pallet).

Art,

That's a really nice block you've got. I'm suprised you haven't sold it yet. If it was the siameese bore version I would be all over it. BTW, How bad is the damage from your last outing? The video was pretty scary.

Thanks Neal. I remember the siamese discussion a long while back.

Damage to the GS seemed "confined" to a lost block/pan and exited rods (5/6); I'll see if crank can be saved. Not my main concern now. The car suffered severe fire damage at home last week. That was scarier than the on-track event. The plan is to get the repair going on the GS chassis next year and also bring my S2 GN back to life. Then, gotta get a V6 shortblock built for the GS. Maybe the Bulldog 455 will have a 2000-plus hp seal of approval by then :). Kinda doubt it. I could be tempted to go with an enemy V8 anyway but that decision can wait.

I have responded to all inquiries and it's still available.

So there's no confusion, the person who contacted me late last night at joyof6@yahoo.com and spoke with me today has until tomorrow to decide. I will post update at that time.
