I bought this engine when the parts I needed for my turbocharged Buick 300 V8 were on indefinite backorder. Shortly after I bought this engine my backorder parts started arriving and this engine has become a distraction. I pulled it down to the short block for inspection just to verify everything was good before installing into my car and noticed the Rollmaster timing set was extremely tight. Upon further inspection I noted that some trash had gone through the bearings. I planned for a crank grind and replacing all the bearings. I also bought a brand new standard size RollMaster timing set. Also have brand new RJC steel head gaskets copper exhaust gaskets and composite intake manifold gaskets. All new quality bearings as well. Timing cover was new at the time of engine build but a high volume oil pump kit was installed. Crank sensor and cam sensor are included as well as water pump and crank pulley. Headers and Champion alternator bracket not included.
