O.k., cut the green wire on the map sensor. Should I have 3 green wires to splice or leave the one that originally went to the ecu hanging? Do I cut and re-connect all 3 green wires? Which one? A pic of what it should look like would be a big help. I'm confused. Doesn't take much. Thanks. It would make sense to me to re-connect all green wires so the ecu can read how much boost to deliver correct amount of fuel.

splice into the green wire.. that means if you cut and strip the signal wire and add in the alky map wire you'll have three ends , connect them and solder , if under hood.. seal from elements , i usually connect under the dash and I just strip back the insulation on the green map wire - spead the wires apart and slide in the alky map wire - twist - solder-sthen wrap with elec tape.

BTW the ecu doesn't use map , its only used for the indash analog boost gauge and it wont read correct anyway now with the 3bar map
if the gauge worked before and was accurate youll find with the 3bar map that the gauge will light the first LED about 6psi and full scale will now be 30psi.
If you need to have map signal to the ecu or powerlogger for speed density chip or just logging boost you'll need to splice another wire off the green map signal wire for that .
