Also, what about adding a resonator and moving back to a single high-flow muffler like OEM near the rear end to reduce in-cabin noise?

Search "3 muffler system" Most cats are unaffected by methanol, as far as I know. THey live fine with ethanol with E-85, so I would assume methanol will not hurt one.

Turbo Bob is the one that did a report of a 3 muffler system. I believe the thread was titled "can't stand the drone anymore".
Turbo Bob wasn't the author of that thread, just a poster that chimed in with his fix.
