3 piece wheels

Looking to get a set of 3 piece wheels ordered here in a couple of weeks. I would like to get some input from you guys on backspacing. I am planning on getting 18X9's for the rear and 18X8's in the front. I would also like some suggestions for tire sizes. I thought about dropping the car 1" to close up the wheel well.

Anybody? Can we run an 18X9 on these or do I need to plan on a 17X9?

17x9 or 18x9 doesn't really matter considering you have to buy the right size tire to make it fit. 18s will fit with the right tire.

ive got 18x9.5's / 18x8.5s - i'm trying to find invoice with backspacing. will let you know - No rub. 285/35 18s - 245/40 18s

4.5" bs will work front and rear but double check your car. Every car is different.
