Where does this line lead? looks like it goes into the cars interior.

Would I be able to leave it unplugged?

It is the HVAC (heater, A/C) and goes into the car behind the glove compartment I believe. It doesn't hold vacuum on mine either (maybe holds 5 in. for a few secs) and I don't have a leak, heater and A/C work great. Others have said the same so I don't think it should hold much vac if any. This goes for the cruise control too.

BLMs are at 122 so no problem :)

If you unplug it, you will not be able to blow A/C or heat though you will get some heat air flow when it is set to hot.

thats strange that it doesnt hold vacuum. the 3-way check valve I had on there was shot , so I thought it damaged something inside. I will try it with and without to see what happens.

thanks for the help

Actually, let me qualify that:

I just hooked the new check valve up and haven't tested the vac/BLM with it on. But, I have heard others say their HVAC doesn't hold vac either. I will let you know if my BLM stays low.

My cruise line to the "ball" is the same way and my cruise has always held fine so I don't suspect a leak.

Try testing vac with the heater/A/C switches off....maybe that has an effect??
