30 days till the family and I go to Disneyworld

Hey guys, how many of you have been down to Disneyworld? We are going down for 10 days and wondered what else we should take in while we are down there.

Any ideas would be appreciated!

Like others have said, lots of cash is a must! Last time I was down there I went to Universal Studios. It was one of the best parks I have ever been to. I spent the extra money to get the line saver passes and it was worth every penny. If your kids are 12 and up I think they'd probably like it. Have a great trip.

Nobody mentioned it......But allot of patience...the lines are long, long, long.

Not the fanny pack, ever! It screams tourist, use a small backpack. Even a little cooler bag you can keep water in is great, especially if you have a stroller to keep it in.
Universal Studios Islands of Adventure is a roller coaster park with badass rides, seperate from Universal Studios which is more about movies with simulator type rides.
MGM Studios is cool with Tower of Terror and the Rockiin Roller coaster, but not much else. Animal Kingdom is cool with good water rides, Disney is more for little kids, Epcot is ok(drinking around the world!). If you have any more questions or need the tour just gimme a holler. The passes are cool for people who live here, we can abuse the hell out of it. Look for package deals and tickets that let you move from park to park. Maybe find a FL resident to buy the tickets ahead of time to save some money.

Good sunsceen is a MUST, we see burnt people all the time. One burnt, miserable person can ruin the trip.

My father in law is paying for the entire trip, airfare, lodging, 7 days Disney passes etc.

All we need to take is spending money

I will find out how much they are and let you know, I had 10 nights down and I think it was only $1500.00.

They are AWESOME houses!

Hes paying for everyone, 11 people in all with my brother in law and his family.

I dont mind being a mooch, leaves more $$$$ for the TTA.

Ill be your monkey and go check the place out for you, hell come down and see your dad, you could crash with us a night. Lord knows theres plenty of room.

Appreciate it Ty, D has me booked for May. We have BG coming up, Then a weekend retreat which I will need after BG.

Dad is up at the camp ground he owns in NY, So he wants me up there over Memorial Day weekend

We're going in September and staying inside the park. Looks like somewhere in the neighborhood of $3000 for a 1 week stay. Still debating on driving or flying. I'd prefer to fly since we're staying inside the park.
