30" tire ?

i have a new engine coming together, 270" ...plan to run it at or around, 700 w/hp... considering traction ...working with a stock w/well area other than rolled lip .. my 275 60 15 on 8" rim, fits great but really want to try a 30" . Unless i missed it, it seems a 29x11.0 bias-ply with an i/tube,is the only choice i see?

ive run both the 295/65/15 drag radial and the 315 radial pro on an 8 inch rim.

275/60 radial pro on a 10" rim

measurements show i can go 4" back ...so that puts 6 towards wheelwell. Not so sure tire will tuck under the (rolled) lip?

The 295 is first choice...I have read though, that the well area's above, and in front of tire need to be "massaged" some?

323 gear would do the same thing with keeping the tire you have. It would cost more and maybe a pia to do with the 30” tire. Unless your looking for looks or something
