What are you looking to get out of your set up. You have a fairly common set up that is iron clad. Stock turbo?

I am in Amarillo. The kid will understand, just explain it's like a football game for you, and you only get to go once a year :tongue:

Notacarlo knows his stuff (as far as Buicks, anyway :tongue, you also have a lot of other Buick guys down there. Look up SuperCPA and talk to him about the club.

Hey thanks Notacarlo. My plans for the future are to get an alky kit, bigger intercooler, downpipe and eventually bigger turbo. That will probably be it for major changes. The rest are cosmetic to get it looking nice. I've never been to the track except as a spectator, but I'll take it soon to the one I have 5 miles down the road.

Oh, and a posi unit. I got one where one tire spins.

I'm thinking I need new valve springs right now. It's a high mileage car that was never modded until I got a hold of it as far as I can tell. It seems to falter at high revs.

I would find out what the cause of the top end break up is, correct that. Do a couple top of third WOT blasts and make sure the tune is on. Then take it to the track. Baseline the car now, and then you will be able to come up with a number you are looking for.

At that point we can steer you toward a combo that gets results!

That video is crazy! Would people point and laugh if I showed up with 1 drag radial on the right rear?

I'll take it out this weekend and do a full re-tune on it. I haven't done it since I fixed the driver's side header leak.

Did Jake help you with the tranny issue you were having?

Thanks Charlie. I've blown my budget getting this thing back on the road, but should be ready for a posi unit sometime around January. I'll check with you first to see if one is available locally that you might know about. In any event, I'll see if Jake can put it in for me when I get it. The trans seems to be holding up ok.

Also, haven't been able to get much done to that rocker panel the last 3 weekends . I think I should be able to knock it out this weekend barring any last minute visits from family. I'll send ya some more pics.
