I am just about to rip the heads off my moms 1987 Blazer, use to be mine. Cracked head. Anyone have the torque specs and sequence of the install. Heads to block, rocker arms, intake(is the sequence on the intake just start in the middle and work your way out?)And is it alright to use the stock nuts back on the stock studs for head install? I was going to buy a chilton but what the hell I got you guys here to give me your info on it. First time working on a 350, well at least this deep on one. Any advice or tips, I am all ears.
Oh ya, once I get this done I get to go back to working on my car and figure out if I got a bad head or bad turbo or what the hell it is........I cant wait to get this damn Blazer done:D
Thanks for any info, Nick

I have read that the lower head bolts go into water jackets so use sealant on those. The tightening sequence should be like any other head: start in the center and tighten in an outwardly expanding spiral kinda like this:

9\/5\/1\/3\/7
10/\6/\2/\4/\8

The book will show it.
