4.1 build pros, cons , parts available or interchangeable from 3.8

just curious if this is a good build using the 4.1 blocks . as far as how much can they take , parts from 3.8 interchange ? parts available etc and people who have built one and results

Just My Opinion......0n the Production 4.1's

**The big bore makes power much easier than the smaller bore 3.8
**However the 4.1 block is not as strong as the 3.8 109
**4.1 blocks have been in the high 9's but don't seem to live there long
**Pretty much all parts but the pistons inter change
**Cost to build is roughly the same, except for custom pistons
** If my goal was not to exceed 10.0's - 9.90's I'd build the 4.1 over the 109
**Local guy here had his in the 9.90-140 mph range off the foot brake in a 3700 lb car.
**Bad news is....the block split in half after a few seasons
