whats the highest cam lift i can put in my stock heads with out taking the heads to the machine shop

I posted it in the other thread for you. A .448 would allow a completely stock engine to breath very well but you need to check to see if your's has been rebuilt. If not you may be able to use the Edlebrock cam, but it's max lift is .472 so you need to do some measuremnts to make sure it will clear.
