4 buicks at Oldies drags

Saw 4 Buicks at New england dragways OLDIES day yesterday
1972 & older.

1) was a 455 70's GS
2) was a 60's WaGONE
3) was a 68 GS skylark
4) plan jane skylak 70's

All Buick powered & in 12's or better.

It is Great to go to the strip & not see 1 forigen car there.
Well maybe 1 it was a 71 datsun but did not race.

Bad day for 3 cars..
A custom 33 williys rod dropped oil & spun out
A 57 Race chevy rolled 5 times from having the shaft drop out.
Last one I was not there but it was a Kamaro..

too bad you didn't go saturday, 4 turbo buicks were there. I turned a new best, 9.17@149mph, Paul T, my bodyman turned a 9.58@143mph, anew best for him. Bob V. turned his first 11 second passes, I think 11.70's@117mph and Brian "wagon" Lee turned 12.35 on skinny white wall street tires!!

Because the NEBRA board was down I only remember seeing
Brian & Bob heading up.

Jack I did not know you were going up.
