For 1986 -1987 BUICK Regal / Grand Nationals

Our instrument cluster has been improved and designed after the ATR style which is to be used in the package tray portion of the console just in front of the floor shifter. This gauge cluster has also been updated with Sides so the sides of the gauges are not visible. This gauge cluster is designed to use 2 -1/16’’size gauges only! This Gauge cluster is made out of light weight 1/8’’ thick aluminum and each gauge cluster has had each hole hand fitted with a gauge prior to shipping for a 100% fit. The gauge cluster has been powder coated a semi gloss black for durability. Each gauge cluster comes with complete instructions & directions to complete the install.

Gauges NOT Included!!

Hey Scott - That includes the gauges, right (LOL)?

Seriously, can you get it powder coated to match other TR interior colors?

Nope! That would intail special ordering the powder and still no gaurantee that it would match so needless to say it would be A lot more expensive with no gaurantee at that..

BUT, powder coat CAN BE WET SANDED and Re-Painted!!! ;) The powdercoating acts as a great base for paint actually and since it's just a gauge cluster I wouldn't expect it to get scratched a lot once it's installed. We painted the prototype gauge cluster with G-Body parts (Grey) paint and it came out great and matches the interior just fine!! That one is going in Eric's car.. :D

When ATR made them they were only offered in black anodizing and anodizing scratches real easy so we thought the powdercoating would be an upgrade.

IMO I'd rather have the one that mounts vertically anyway. You don't have to look down as far to check the gauges. Plus it blends in with the interior better.

Guy's we have just sent them into our new company along with the 3-gauge clusters but they did the 3-gauge clusters first and are now working on the 4-gauge ones. Hang in there because it won't be too long before they are ready. I don't have a time line on when they will be done at this time but as soon as they are I will post here.

The reason there is no way to order is because I don't want to take in orders and have them and your money sitting here unless they are ready to go. Sorry.

The 3 gauge clusters are the ones attached to the top? What size gauges does the 4 gauge pod takes?

Thank you.

Yes the 3-gauge are attached to the top and use 2 1/16" gauges. The 4-gauge clusters are attached below the radio pod and use 2 1/16" gauges as well.

Okay,

Sorry for the long wait period on these guy's! We now have a New company cutting & bending these for us, they have the original ATR gauge cluster that these older ones were modeled after so the little sides WILL NOT BE ON THEM like they used to be. We already received a price quote from them last Friday.. I spoke to them today and gave them the go ahead to make 10 for us... At this point all that needs done is a CAD drawing and them to cut them out. Once we receive them it's a decision on what coating will be done to them... I can leave them bare so people can paint them interior color or have them powder coated black.... ??

The "Buy Now" button is back operational so people can lock their order in to make sure they get one of the 4-gauge clusters...

Here is what they will look like now.... Minus the anodized finish and the sides.... They will be powder coated.

As mentioned by others about the color of the 4-gauge clusters. I usually in the past had them powder coated a gloss black and there were a few guy's ask me why I didn't do them in Grey to match the interior color of the GN, Couple reasons actually, one simply because many also use these in their other TR's which do not have the Grey interiors, and another is because I didn't want to just use paint due to possible scratching, and to have a powder coating company custom color match the powder would just be too much....

Like I mentioned to the ones who wish to have theirs in Grey to match their Grey interior I will use the color matched paint from G-Body parts and spray them at no extra cost.. So if you want yours in Grey it will have to be painted and we will do it for Free for you!
