thanks chris for the help. the car will be raced and street driven. will launch off foot brake. 3.42 rear gears w/ 28" high e.t street tires. shift at 5000 rpm's.

a converter that will give 3400 stall at 8 to 10psi without pulling thru the tires will work well ,however it better be an efficient one.such a converter should be great around town.we can set you up with a good combination if you cant get anything,although if im not mistaken coan is right near you arent they?
