Hey all, I'm still new here and realize everyone else is turbo and RWD(which is the way it should be)but... I have an 87 T-Type Lesabre (non turbo FWD) The intended engine upgrades will push power to around 260 and in a year or so add a 60-80 shot of NOS. My trans is a 440-T4. it already has a stage 1 kit and full rebuild on it and does have the stronger chain drive and deeper gears. The weak point is the diff. I intend on using synthetic lube and a big oil cooler and avoid burnouts(which kill the diff) but while the engine is out I'd like to add a higher stall converter to help off the line #'s. Can anyone help me with a part# pr manufacturer or even more upgrades to my lowly FWD???? Thanks in advance. and BTW, I cannot afford the beefier 4T65E trans or I'd just pay the $2000 to SLP and get their trans.

alto makes an upgraded clutch pack for the trans allowing the addition of extra clutches to the 3rd gear drum and you can machine the piston and pressure plate in the input drum for more clutches ,also there is a 2150 440t4 stall convertor available .if you have any other questions ill try to help .www.ckperformance.com
