I have an 85 suburban with a 454, 400, 411 gears and truck tires on 16" wheels. It runs fine with 112,000 on the clock. However I am looking to get a little more.I would like to add some bolt on items such as cam, intake headers and exhaust. Tranny guy is going to through and we will add a slightly more efficient convertor. Since this is a tow only vehicle, I am not looking for maximum fuel mileage but any increase can help. Just looking for some more power. I will keep the quadrajet and tune it. I have done plenty of those but looking about engine stuff. Want to keep the stock heads. Any suggestions would be helpful.
