i dont want to thread jack but is that the Gate that comes off the GN1 downpipe? If so, what did you replace it with?!

it was from tr customes im sure that gates are ok but the setup just didnt hold boost, i had to go off the header and fig id just get a PTE gate at the time and not try using the same gate

received your old gate, it was a little leaky on the top side, not sure if it was related to your issues. I fixed it, and now just need to find time/energy to install....

It didn't leak when I had it on the dyno. But the gate and setup would not hold boost

TurboBob, when i took the gate off my car i blew into the side fitting and it had some pressure come out of the top fitting. Is that what you meant by leaky on the top side? or do i need to pump 15psi in it to see if it leaks then?

the way these gates are supposed to work is:

pressure in the top does not leak at all, although a small leak might be ok (a leak out the side or something)

pressure in the side port will leak out past the valve stem, but should NOT leak into the top section.

blowing with your mouth generates very little pressure and only finds big issues. You need a Mityvac hand pump or a compressor to really test these.
