I see and here of lots of guys running TH400 w/gear vendors. What about the 4L80E? It appears John Nygen has had good results with this behind his stage 2. I'm looking to put a built 4L80E behind my Stage 1 motor. I'm tired of the 200r4 breakages. I've reached a point where I no longer trust the 200r4's. Car has the usual stuff, PT-72, 83# inj., 3400 stall converter, 70mm throttle body, Precision front mount, Duetweiller built motor, 3600# car.

I wonder if our tunnel will handle/clear it?
All the high power/600 plus LS1 guys here are going to it after all the "Built" 4l60's with all the roller, billet, hardened stuff still fails to last.
Seems that over 600 HP is the kicker for the 200r4 and 700/4l60 stuff.
