4runner oil capacity?

Getting ready to change the oil and filter on my 97 v6 3.4 4runner,what is the oil capacity w/filter? Thanks

When I change the oil in my wife's 99, it takes 6 quarts total. I didn't check if there are larger filters available so I use the short one like factory.

Thanks Eric! Yea i just changed the filter and dumped 5 qrts in it and it is a little short!! Off to wal-mart for another quart. Thanks again! Kurt
