The only one I disagree about is the oil additive.

We all know that flat tappet cam equiopped engines now need added zinc & phosphorus because most current oils don't have enough in them. Yes, a tiny bottle of ZDDP is pricey, but still cheaper than a new cam, lifters, & gaskets.

I understand that this little article is for the mainstream population, who drive cars that don't need additives.

Ya my GF's dad loves to talk S about dexcool. I sit there and roll my eyes whenever he does cause he acts so proud about figuring out what is better than the GM rec. Honestly if it aint corroding and it cools, whats the problem?
