regarding that 2+2 pic- why is that guy looking at that EXP instead of the Poncho?
not trying to hijack the thread or anything, but i knew of one of those Poncho 2+2's that sat in the same spot at a small town car dealer rotting away for a few years. odometer said 50,000 miles. it was sitting behind the building, kind of out of sight, in tall grass. the paint was faded, the fenders and doors kind of beat up, the rocker panels were gone, the interior was trashed, it was on 4 different 14" wheels, and it barely ran.
but the car lot owner's son wouldn't sell it for anything less than $10k because he "heard it was kind of rare".
what a shame.. why are people like that?
that's almost as silly as the guy that builds his own comp dragsters that had an 84 t type with 56,000 miles on it sitting outside at his used car dealership with a "blown engine" for 12 years..
wait- that wasn't a bad thing. i bought that T-Type 2 years ago for $2000 and put head gaskets in it. got it on a friday and was driving it Sunday night.
