Could just be his favorite sport. I know of a supervisor at my job the will talk to you for hours about boxing. So much, that he will forget all about the work he needed done, that you really didn't feel like doing anyway.

boxing or karate

i took self defense for 2 yrs and the kids who came in after several yrs of boxing were always the ones who won trophies at tourney's. love to watch them in golden gloves tourney's. talk about a blur when they warm up with some punches and stuff. got a couple of relatives that have fought and one had a few belts and was local. never know when it'll come in handy with all the people who walk around with their chest sticking out needing a lesson.
