50 vs. 55 injectors on Injector Guide GNTType.org

Recently Ed (thanks Ed!) pointed out that it's possible the injectors in the injector guide for the 50s and the 55s might be "backwards".

Now, upon further investigation, it seems that most folks agree they are correct.

It appears it might be that all Delphi injectors look the same and that might cause confusion. (Which it did .. I'm thoroughly confused! )

Anyway, can folks that own 50s and 55s take a look at:

Do they match up with yours?

i dont have them but they do match up w/the picture of to 50lb MSD/Delphi injectors on racetronix's website. so i think the pic on gnttype are correct. here are the two:

I have had both and just shipped my 55's out today.. The 50's are half green half black just like in the photo. The 55's are all black.

I agree Ken, the 55's on your site look just like the ones I have in my car. The 50's you show look just like all the sets I have installed for guys around here.

They are correct.

I've had 50's 55's and now 72's

BTW the MSD 72's (flow more like 75#) and they look EXACTLY like the 50's.

Yup! Looks just like the 55's I had. Oh, those are my old 55's

I just installed some 55's in my car last night. They're grey and black. ??? (sorry.. never seen a 50)

I believe that PTE has 55 and 65 lb delphi injectors available.

They should be great (I love my 75's)

They would look identical to the 50's on GN-TTYPE

That would probably explain why my 55's are black and grey. I bought them brand new locally at LS1 Speed Inc (Schaumburg, IL). The injectors came with a sheet of flow data with a letter head logo similar to what's on the PT&E website. I suspected they came from PT&E.

100% sure that the picutres are correct but the 50 picture looks like the Delphi 55's so both those pics should be one the 55's. i got my injectiors from persion and they look like the 50 picture
