650 hp vs down pipe

Yes , like stock .
ATR is out of business years ago , but many of the vendors on here could help you with your decision on what DP would best mate up with your exhaust system .
Everybody was new to this at one time , so keep asking questions and reading posts . Sam
I have a 66mm exhaust side on my turbo.
Will it clear?
I test fit in my stock elbow for the downpipe it covered up the whole a bit .

I could always modify the rest of the exhaust some if needed.

I am more worried about it clearing the exhaust side of the turbo and the Westgate Hole lining up

I don’t know if I should make him do it the way I like it .
I’m too nice sometimes
I don’t want to offend him or piss him off.

I would imagine that the deck must be done.
How else is he going to know the deck height.

I need to talk to him about my concerns.
I would hate to order the Pistons and then have him call me saying It needs to be bored a little bigger .

I wouldn't recommend telling someone to do something different than how they do things.

Knowing the deck height is easy, you just measure it on all four corners then go from there.

On the boring, if the block is iffy due to scratches, pit, taper, or whatever the trick is to bore it clean, get the pistons, then do the final hone.

The way I do it with my slugs, is to measure the the bores then hone the worst one clean, make the rest match, then order pistons. Doing it that route avoids the cost of a bore job and leaves more meat on the cylinder walls.
