Just recieved my new FT6776S BB from FT . something I notice is that the wastegate rod has a slight kink/bend about 1" up from the actuator . never seen a wastegate rod with a preformed bend in it before . is this a new design correct HD wastegate for this 6776 or somehow did it get damage in transit ? I've PM Mike to see what he has to say . thanks .

I have mine that came with my turbo even though I didnt want it. I have an external WG. If u need one I will hook u up with mine. Brand new never used.

many thanks for the offer . But.... I'm sure FT will make good on it once we figure it out . I'm going to send Mike a pic . :)

mine was bent to... I believe thats how they do it ..rather than turning things a little so ya can just leave them straight

well that's good to know .is yours a S cover as well ? I'll post a few picks later tonite to see if it close close to yours . Mike also request I send him a pic as well . thanks

The bend is for it to seat on the dp. Mine dosen't have a bend, it's connects to the wastegate on an angle, thus preventing me from really puttin the boost to it.

Here's what I got for those interested . :)

I don't have that turbo but it kind of looks like what I would've had to do to mine for my TE61 to make the stock actuator fit. Instead I took the hard route and cut the bracket at the bend and straightened out the actuator so I wouldn't have to do that.

IMO something does not look right . and the wastegate has only one available hole to bolt it to the turbo .

I kinda assumed he just had one bolt on to hold it in place. Also, like I said, my turbo is a TE61.
