Im switching over to Seimens 83lb injectors , 16 position TW, MAF coneless.

Is there anyone on here running this setup? If you are , what kind of fuel presure are you running? Static?
How do you like this set up?

Steve Wood are you out there? I heard that you are running this setup. Any times yet with this?

Thanks in advance

Try 40# to start with. I think most of the 83 guys are running 40-42.

I am running 75s, tho. No times, I blew the posi out right after installing them. Just got a new carrier and have the rear end laying in the floor at the moment. I also have the stuff to convert over to the mafless version. My original maf that came with the car is getting a little flaky about hitting 255 every time and I had to program for a lower number. I decided to save the translator for one of my other cars and simply toss the maf all together. :)

Steve,
Thanks for the info. What's the 255? What was the car doing when you hit those numbers? How can you adjust it?

When I was talking to Steve Y he said some people where having problems with that. I hope that I don't. This is going a trial & error for me, so we will see what happens.

Thanks

Chris,
Have you got a new chip for your TW?? Knowing how much boost you like to run :D , I would start out at 45 and work my way down. At Noble I was running almost 50 at 26lbs of boost - however I run 72(s).

Good luck - keep it together

James,
I sent my chip out today to Steve. I also sent the ECM out to get modded. Should have them back in a week or two.

Im getting the injectors flowed also.

I will let you know how it turns out.

255 on the maf.

To get out of the spool up curve on the ME, you have to hit 250 on the maf plus 5000 rpm ( this is for 50# and up--also think Steve sometimes goes to 5150 rpm or close to that on some of the larger injectors..have to ask him)

If the maf does not show at least 250 and the rpm limit, the car will stay in the spool up curve and it will be too lean in the upper gears.

Now, if you have a screwy maf, you can reprogram the 250 down to 240 or whatever it takes. You cannot change the rpm limit so you have to be sure that your car shifts above his rpm limit for the chip to do its trick.

If you ever do a dyno run, you have to be sure the car is run up enuf to get out of spool up before you start the actual run. DS scan will show you in the blm matrix what mode the chip is in.

Thanks Steve,
That is some good info. I will ask Steve Y. about the spool curve.

Thanks
