84/85 Intake Question

I have seen some hotair intakes that have power six emblems in the little center circle part on top of the intake. I bleieve that all that I have seen that had them were 84's. Not one of my three 85's has one. My question is, did all 84's, and 85's have these little emblems or was it just something for 84, or did people just put these on their cars?

They did have them in 84 and 85, odds are it fell off (the heat underhood melts th eglue typically) found mine laying in the driveway one night.

Ive heard people say that theirs had a red dot also instead of the power six logo. Does anyone know where I can find one of these little emblems? Id like to get one and stick it on there with something better than what the factory used.

All of the hot airs that I have owned have had the power 6 on them. Some 85-87 NA SFI motors had them too. Some of the same 85-87 NA SFI cars got the all red emblem that said sequential fuel injection on them. Be carefull when removing them from the donor engine. The emblem is enamelized and they crack really easily as they are glued onto the intake with heavy duty silicon.
