Too cold out there to go and look.....I'll check, but it looks wrong to me.

I agree with Brent. Not good. I bought a set of new sun visors from GBODYPARTS last year and my local interior restorer matched them perfectly. It is cold as hell here but if you need a PIC either I can post here or send a PM. Brad

A little late but work comes first. This is my headliner with GBODYPARTS sun visors. Brad

I got my headliner and sun visor material for my 84GN from Jax's Seat Covers. Web site doesn't mention the 84's but they have it.

Hey Brad, thanks for posting but its not an 84. I was looking for pics of an 84 GN. But Thanks. And it looks better than mine.

Spoke to that vender today. Was unable to log on to see my pics. He took my name and number to call me back. No phone call. This is a well known vender, and sent someone to him this week. Lets hope this gets solved.

I have an 84GN in Albemarle, NC. What pics do you need?

Like the pics I took. Headliner rear and one with the visors. I am getting the vender to look at this pics. So any will help, Thanks.

Here's mine. The previous owner had it done a couple years ago.

Thanks butchman, but its not the correct color for my year. It does look good though.

First question I ask any vendor when looking for interior trim pieces, sun visors, head liners, etc is......Do you stock more than one color of interior parts for Grand Nationals. If they say they stock two colors, THEN I ask about the 84GN color. If they stock only one GN color, I go elsewhere (or get creative).

I bought t-top shades from Brian at GBODY.COM in Ahoskie, NC and got the wrong color. After several discussions with Brian, I purchased a 84GN headliner kit for non-t-top car from Jax Seat Cover and sent the material to Brian and he is sending it to the t-top shade folks. Sometimes you have to be creative when dealing with a 1-2 year color.

Most of the TR vendors simply cannot accomodate those of us with 84GN due to the very low volume. I'm just thankful that we still have our TR vendors. They are great!

I do see your point. But when your told that he has the correct color and will be sending you the correct color because he has the color code, you would think that you would get the correct color. And after he sent the wrong color your told its because your interior is faded and there is nothing he can do to help. I am very upset over this, but I am not going to blow this out of proportion. Its wrong, and I want to make sure its wrong by posting this, so I can have it made right. Not by slamming the vendor. But if this gets blown off again and I pay to have this corrected I will voice my opinion. I know that mistakes happen, and will again. Just fix those mistakes and no harm done. So if he makes this right then its just water under the bridge. But if your saying its my fault because I did not ask the "wink wink" questions then they should not try selling the headliner in the first part, and if I need to do the leg work I should get it for much less. I paid full price for the headliner. I want the correct color. Plan and simple.

I know what you are saying. I have heard the "fading" excuse but since I am the original owner of my 84GN, I can shoot that down immediately. I honestly believe that many times the vendor is simply not fully informed. You and I know the correct color because we have an 84GN. FWIW, I have depended on Jax Seat Covers to get me the right color and they have not let me down.

After 12 phone calls they will fix it due to all of you guys. Thanks for the posts to show what he did not want to see. It was a pain, but thankful he will make it right. I will still buy from him, just hope it won't happen again. I will post pics of the new one.

Glad to hear they are going to take care of getting you some new material. I would definitely get enough material to recover your sunvisors at the same time no matter how good of shape they are in. Another thing to note for anyone trying to match up the headliner color, use the backside of the sunvisors for close color comparison. They never see sunlight and have very little fading over the years. Also the headliner very rarely matched the interior trim that surrounds it, mainly due to different dye lots of the headliner material, and the same on the plastic panels, they varied from the beginning of the year to the end...................RatPack.........................
