'84 GN question? Trunk Lid emblem?

What emblem came on trunk lid of '84 GN?? My car did not come with original deck lid. I see t-types with 3.8 liter emblem and I have seen 85-87 GN's with grand national logo, but did '84's come with a emblem?? Anyone?? TIA

Good Question!! I have been wondering this for some time myself. My car does not have one on it. Theres a guy around the corner from me w/ an 84 GN that doesn't have one. Herb's car did have one and I have pictures of a 16k or so 84 GN that has it on it. So I don't know what to believe!

And the 3.8L Turbo emblems were only on the non-GN's, that is common.

There should be no emblem on the rear decklid of an '84 GN. There are only for emblems on the exterior of an '84: one on each front fender and the two on the hood.
