I only have Flowmaster exhaust and cone fileter as performance modifications. I have an adjustable wastegate. I was reading the 1 turn will increase about 1PSI of boost. Can I raise my almost original T-Type up to 15PSI on 93 Octane ? Everything is original and it is running very good on about 11~12 PSI. I do have the 8 stage chip but I only use it on the stock setting. What do you all think.

Here is a good one: Got a Scan tool? :D Got a knock gauge at least and a aftermarket boost gauge? I dont think I would turn anything up unless I had at least a knock gauge. Because one day the weather is fine for 15lbs. of boost and the next it is just to hot out. 1 psi of boost is worth 10 Horsepower, I believe. So hell that is a easy 30 horses!! So, hell go for it but be cautious. HTH....later Nick

I have no scantool. I do have a boost gauge but I have no knock gauge. I know that some know is not audible to our ears but I'm going to try it and see what happens. If it bucks hesitates or any pinging I will adjust boost down . What exactly do I look out for, feel or will hear if the boost is too much ?

I have no idea. I guess the guy did not check for the catalytic converter. It passed legit... I was happy...

i would buy an adjustable fuel pressure regulator and find someone in your area that you can borrow turbo-link from.

you should be able to run 15# with your setup, but every car is different,so you need to monitor it to be sure.if you go cranking up the boost without a scan tool you're just looking for trouble.

btw, everybody who says you can't monitor detonation with your ear isRIGHT! if you can hear it it's causing damage.

later,sean
