Not stock 109 block .040 over,1.65 rockers,stock pistons, rods,crank,61 turbo,headers,Two stages alky, (2 aqua mist nozzels in intake 1 nozzel in turbo neck comes in at 20 lb. boost,Art Carr non l/u,extrude honed intake,bored t/b,ls mass air,tinman cold air,H/R stab bar,M/T radials,skinnies,21/2 exhaust,42 009 inj, gages,7.20 1/8 11.41 1/4 @117. oil filter cap is a Moroso off the shelf piece put on after I cut off the stock fill pipe. What does your GT G8 run? I do not understand the mod initials.

No pre-turbo alky?

Do you guys have a good source for the aquamist nozzles?

Thinking about throwing one in pre-turbo this summer so it's gotta be a fine mist nozzle.


Extrude honing the stock intake is a good idea. I looked into it years ago,I remember it was too much $$ for me at the time.

What cam you running?

It needs some more tuning, but I've had some 13.2 @ 108 MPH passes in the 1/4 mile. Rotofab Cold Air Intake, Kook 1 7/8" Long Tube Headers, High Flow Cats, Corsa Catback and HP Tuners is the tuning software and device.

I have a volant cold air, super chip flashpac, and a SLR Motorsports perf chip. Have not tried the chip yet. I like what the super chip program does to the trans shift points. Do you know if the SLR Motorsports chip works inconjection with the Flashpac program? Thanks. hotairgnx548 see ya!

I started with the Superchips tune Cortex tune. It's a pretty good tune for a basically stock G8, however once you go past the Cold Air Intake mod you have to leave the capabilited of that tuner and you have to do the tuning yourself of get someone to tune to car for you.

I've never heard of the "SLR Motorsports Chip", but a little searching on the internet seems to reveal it's just placing a resistor on your Intale Air Temp sensor which will just fool the ECM in thinking the temps are cooler than they really are. Not very high tech.
