Hopefully this thread should get booming here soon. I have a built up typhoon that I'm almost considering done and I'm ready for something new and what more then a perfect toy to start with, my buick. Rust free car. 1 owner.. Gonna have some fun!! Here the car is after cleaning it up from sitting a long long time

And after a few different rims I finally found what I wanted. After a 5.5 hour round trip here they are!

My pillar pod arrived last night so I can get my boost and temp gauge installed. I also have a e-cutout showing up hopefully today to get installed. I did order a egr block off plate but they sent for a new year motor so I have to send back and get the correct one.

Cool, looks nice and clean! I too have an 85 t type but it needed a bit of patch work, welding is practically done. Just waiting on the weather to warm up it's been like 1 degree the past two weeks!

Post more pics of the rims my car needs them as well lol

Here's the only other pix I have currently. Had to special order lugs to get them to fit which should be here tomorow hopefully

Alright guys, need some help getting a game plan set up here for my goals. I want to hit atleast high 11s. i already know ill be getting alky kit, debating on weather e85 is route I show go. Also I know injectors need to be had so those are added to list. But it seems the turbo is where I'm stuck at. I see the ta-33 should get me in 11s but having issues finding a source to buy one. Also will be ordering the speed daddy headers and yes I know they need work to fit.

Alright having a issue with my boost gauge. I T'd it off off the port on the intake block on top of the intake tube. I don't rememever the name of it sorry guys it's that big
Block with all the vacuum ports on it. Well I teed off the line that goes to the map sensor. I get it to read vacuum but no boost, and after driving the car it def had boost lol. What did i do wrong?

Also I got a Plx wideband for the car. On my typhoon I have a turbo tweak chip, where I installed the sensor in place of stock 02 sensor and have the chip setup for a target af mix. Is there anything similer I can do like this on the Buick? Am I just going to have to install another port on the dp for the wideband sensor?

And here's a pic of first drive with the 325s, no rubbing and rides like a dream

The boost gage tap should be after the turbo. Vacuum block will never see boost pressure on a factory HA setup.

The wb sensor should be 12-14" min dimension after the turbo in the dp, and never in the stock location as the heat will kill the sensor.

If a 86-87 ecm is used, all the availability and functionality of the chips will be the same.

Got some tint on the windows today, also got some 8.8 plug wires installed and some ngk plugs. Idles sooooo much better and runs smoother on acceleration. Working on getting a new intake made and a box to get the hot air way from the filter

alright guys back to needing advice... I'm very much considering the e85 swap.. For now parts list is the Walbaro pump from turbo tweak, along with the 60lb injectors/chip which puts me roughly 450 bucks...
I know I need the 86/87 ecm which I found a few on eBay but I'm not paying a hundred bucks, I heard there is someone on here selling for a decent price but haven't found him yet. Also I will need the lt1 maf for the swap correct? And lastly, stock style fuel filter new be ok?

If youre on a budget and don't want to constantly swap chips, Dynamic EFI's SFI6 is about the best bang for the buck. Also, your going to need some 80's if you want to keep the IDC down, Bobs84ttype just cracked 11's, hoping to repeat again on Friday with a better time. E85 and HA is very capable, bobs car pulls like a freight train on the street, pretty amazing at 20psi.

Awesome the info, I haven't even heard of the dynamic place before so I'll look into it. How about the ecm swap?
