85 Tranny

Is the tranny from the 85 GN the same as the 86/87 trannys.

hmmm interesting i always thought both yrs carry the same 2004r tranny so wat is the difference in the 85 and 86/87?

85

Tag on the side has different letters. Servo on 85 is smaller. Large weight on governor has a spring that the 87 does not (I just removed mine) Other than that I believe they are the same.
