86-87 coil/module conversion questions

Gents,

Spank here! Got a question. After much differences in answers, I want to get it straight! I got a 85GN. I converted over to the 86-87 type coil pack and module. There are people telling me that I need to keep the 84-85 firing order and ignore the firing order on the 86-87 coil. Is this true? If I am using the Caspers adapter, the 86-87 module, coil, and ECM, wouldnt it be the 86-87 firing order? Help stop the confusion!
