really? thats interesting i have two or three different style of grilles but the only difference in the ones i have is the thickness of the bars and the count of them...can you please inform me of what is different with the 87s...thank you

I've got one also. But it is good for a driver or a race car. Not a high dollar show car.

If I remember right it is very similar to the black GN grilles in bar count and size. But it is grey with chrome tips on the tops of the bars.

84-86 grilles say buick on the top of the grille and you can not stick your fingers through them.87 grilles have a bolt on emblem on the driver side of the grille that says buick and you can actually stick your fingers into the grille.do a search and you will see i am right !

He has chrome too. The chrome is almost too good - it's so much brighter than the original junk GM used. I bought NOS headlight bezels several years ago and the chrome was horrible. Still have'em on the car now and still looks bad (for a brand new part anyways). Some time this summer I'll be purchasing the repro chrome grill/bezels from Paul.
