87 Gbody core support

Does anyone know if the core support for a 87 GN is the same as an 87 El Camino?

My vote would be yes. G-body core supports, though small differences may exist, I would think would be interchangeable.

Alot of the same parts for Gbodys, but I think I tried to do a 79 core on an 87 El camino once, and of course it didnt work due to the one headlight:redface:

The Gn core looks totally different then the one I have

I will just have to sell it on EBay.

The ElCamino support is different. As far as 81 and newer go there are two basic core supports. A coupe and a sedan. Since the ElCamino is based on a Malibu wagon,more or less it uses the sedan support. The big difference is in the upper tie bar part of the support.
