Been holding off on this for a couple of years, but the time has come and I have no place to store my GN anymore. The care was a nice driver for me for years, with the hopes of becoming a show/track car. Unfortunately life got in the way and my plans never panned out.
The motor was built by RPE and has right around 11k miles on it. The car itself has somewhere around 170k miles. The car currently does not start. It ran fine a few months ago (fast and healthy) when it was driven to storage, but when I tried to start it up earlier this summer it wouldn't start. It cranks hard, has spark and fuel, ignition module is good, but just won't start. Could be bad cam sensor or bad ECM, maybe something else entirely... I just don't have the time to work on it anymore. Obviously it will need to be towed by the buyer.
The previous owner had it repainted, but the person who did it painted over some bad rust patches without repairing them properly. This resulted in large rust holes on the rear driver side quarter panel and passenger rocker panel. The bumper fillers are also cracked with holes. Needless to say the rust spots will need to be repaired and the car can use a paint job. Otherwise the body is pretty straight, with some typical door dings along the sides. The grill, headlight bezels, side markers, air dams and turning lenses were all replaced with NOS parts at the time I bought the car.
The interior is 6/10. There's an AVC GNX style dash, Scanmaster, new carpet, new weatherstripping and seals, new headliner (although it is sagging... cheap glue I guess). Also has stock GN wheels with center caps, and full spare mounted on a GN rim.
The car has a lot of upgrades:
RPE motor- .20 over, Diamond Turbo pistons, billet mains, 206 Comp Cam, rebuilt heads w/ Manley stainless valves and o-ringed, APR 12 pt Pro Series head bolts, JCC Race Plate, 160° thermostat, 42.5 lb injectors, Red Armstrong 93 octane chip, TE 60 turbo, Mease 24 row stock location intercooler, XP Plus fuel pump, Volt Booster, Hot Wire kit, 3" Terry Houston Stainless downpipe and dump, Flowmaster dual exhaust, K&N air filter, stainless T clamps, B&M transmission cooler, Bilstein shocks, Kirban rear seat and front frame braces, dual fans, aluminum front and rear bumper reinforcements.
I need to have the car out of where it's currently stored by Thursday and don't want to have to tow it anyplace else, which is why it's priced to sell quickly. Needless to say I am very motivated to sell, so serious offers/inquiries only please. I also have receipts for work done on the car. Please send me a PM for more pics and phone number.
