This is the car that taught me how to build Buicks, and how to not.
Plusses:
9" rear build by Quicktime Performance. Strange spool, 35 spline axles, Strange aluminum center section, Strange aluminum pinion support, Big bearing Torino ends, back braced, internally braces, fill and drain plugs.
TH400 built by a big named ******* for an 8 second car, refreshed and sold to me, transbrake, reverse manual, Art Carr 4k stall
MSD 7al-2 ignition for distributor with coilpack.
Fast XFI
6 pt rollbar built by Bill Buck
Fiberglass front bumper
10 gallon alum fuel cell
Magnafuel 625 fuel pump with filters
Weld Rodlite 15x4, 27.5 front runners, 15x10 28x10.5 rears screwed
B&M supercoolers with fans. The expensive ones.
Fbod radiator with dual spal fans.
Quarter stick with Hueffman overlay
Bad ass heater delete box with buick Tri Shield instead of turbo 6 like everyone else.
Hueffman radio delete with 3 guage holder, boost, oil press, tranny temp Sport comp guages, 3.5 matching tach.
Global West Lowers with sperical joints, Edelbrock uppers spherical joints.
3" driveshaft from Driveshaft specialists in San Antonio, forged yoke, 1350 joints.
Bad:
crap paint
crap notch, redo it. quarter buckles
crap wiring under dash due to crap alarm shop install, and me when I was young and dumb
I stole the brakes off it for my other car, front brakes will be stock, will need rear brakes.
I'm keeping the HR bar unless you wanna buy it full pop.
This car weighed under 3200 with me in it and 5 gallons of fuel. It 60'd like a mofo, jacked crowd pleasing wheelies dead nuts level, and ran straight. Consistent mid 9's at 143 with old outdated parts like outdated 70mm and 3" DP.
Too much for a roller you say? Buy the parts and get a car for free.
