Why would you think an 85 clone with a nice motor @ $15k was such a great deal???

Next time if there is, find someone to look at the car for you in detail before you purchase.

Keep us posted on your rust repair. I had a local body shop start painting my doors, hood, etc. and now I pulled up the carpet and found two rust holes the size of a quarter in the floor board behind the front seat. There is also surface rust. I sourced floor boards on ebay and also an entire floor from Goodmark. This week I'll get with the body shop owner and see what he wants to do. The back seat floor board is about $50, and you can do the entire car for $300 (without labor).
