Oh hell - that's a short trip with a trailer.
You have a grand total of one highway - I/35
A days ride.
Well worth it.
I rode from ATL to Wisconsin just to pick up parts!
Expensive parts - but parts.
I see the OP is kinda quiet.
Did you get additional pictures and details of what works and what doesn't?
Some interior pics would be nice.
And undercarriage showing her true age.
It's like online dating - it's what they don't show you in the pictures that will surprise you.
And they post of those pics of their best side - usually looking like they are taken with a telescopic zoom from a satellite.
From the one pic of the motor - I like what I can see.
Take it from someone with experience. or for what its' worth. (Nothing)
I only ever got lucky once - and even that was taking a big risk - when I picked up my WE4 from Delaware and drove it home to Atlanta.
Turbo Regals - should be trailered home until you determine their road worthiness.
They're too finicky to pray and hope for a safe passage through 1000 miles of whatever.
I tried on a second one, from Houston to ATL - and lost the trans in Montgomery, AL.
Again, I felt lucky I was close to home, but it was no joy.
Sure everyone will tell you - "Oh, I'd drive that car anywhere - even to Hawaii"
Then you look at the 25 year old rubber hoses and lines and think - "Um...maybe the corner 7/11"
Jus sayin'
Well I dont own a trailer to tow a car home I guess I could rent one but I really would like to go get it if everything falls the way it is ment to I will and there has to be a reason this car has been for sale for two years and no buyers
