87 regal limited question

i just picked up a 87 regal limited v8 car 307/200r4 with the black out trim package. gold with tan interior. does anyone know how rare this car if it is rare at all?

Most limiteds were v8 auto cars.
I can't tell you about the options but limited turbo's were the rare ticket (1,038 produced)

Sounds like a nice car with the WO2 Option, do you have a picture of the RPO sticker?
Most important, is the car in super nice condition?

I would love to see pictures of it, how clean is the car?

Are you sure it has a 2004R?

I picked up a wrecked (front end hit) 87 Limited 307 4bbl from my uncle for parts for my T. It only has 25,000 miles on it. I bought it mainly for the like new interior with the pillow seats and split bench. I was dissapointed however when I found out it did not have the G80 and the trans was not a 2004R. It's only a 3speed auto.

I had a 87 NA Limited that I bought from the original owner. It was a dark Maroon color fully loaded. 307 L and it had the 7.5 rear and a 2004R. As far as I know the Turbo Regals were the only Buicks with the G80

Don't hold me to this but I was told 1000-1200 approximate v8 cars with T-package. That car would make a real nice conversion let me know if you want to sell it. I like gold with tan interior & black out trim.
I have parted about 6 of these so far that were in really rough shape. White t-top with burgundy interior is the last 1 we just sent to the scrapper last week.

I have one of the Gold Limited TR's What interior do you have? I have tan leather with roll up windows, shift on the column, and a 1/2 console. Hang on to it!!

it also has the y65 package but i dont have the t-type rims, it has a tan cloth split bench,column shift, manual windows. the car has some rust in the pass. side rear quarter and some in the drivers side floor. carcraft53029/Regal - Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting thanks to GRNDNL(keith) where i got it from.

not sure yet, i have alot of projects. i have a 403 that is waiting my hurst olds that i may put in there to run the motor to see if it work.

I Know man, it sucks. I seen two myself go around here (detroit) and they were in good condition. they didnt fetch 2 grand. I think theyre sexy regardless of the motor in em. But unfortunately in the buick world, rarity doesnt mean anything. Look at the 82 GN's that go for like 5 grand. Technically, they should fetch big bucks, cuz theyre the daddy of the gn.. but they 'dont have a turbo' on em, so they fetch beans. Honestly, If i had a lot of money, and they were askin 20 grand for a mint 82 gn, id pay it. cuz its the first ones out. but thats the reality of buick. if its not fast, its worthless... I still cant figure out why though...
