If it's a 1987 it'll be a "Turbo T", not a T-Type. Buick discontinued the T-Type after the 1986 model year.
Buick never produced a model called Turbo "T" in 1987. Granted, it was not called a T-Type but it wasn't listed from the dealer as a Turbo "T" either. It's easier to say Turbo "T" because the T-Type name was dicontinued in 86. But if were splitting hairs here technically it is NOT a Turbo "T" either.
It was simply a Regal with a Turbo package (Code Y56). The "T" was just part of an available package but was never listed as a Turbo "T" when ordering the car new from the dealer. I list mine in my sig as a Turbo "T" but it is just a generic term. When people who are not very familiar with these cars ask what I own I say T-Type as well. But both are wrong technically.
