It only has only 4000 miles on it and it stalled at 3000 and worked perfectly. This converter worked great wth a TA60 had instant boost and would light the tires at will. Worked great on interstate on the way to car shows with lock up. My turbo went so ordered a bigger turbo and need more stall.Price $525.00 plus shipping :D

Why don't you just have it re-stalled? I thought the 9x11 came with 1 free re-stall? No?
Steve

no

No,unless they got the stall wrong the first time. When I bought mine I filled out the spec sheet(put that I had a stk turbo but was going to around a PT54 and wanted a 3000),got my tranny in and running and noticed that the spec sheet said approx 2800 stall. I got no restall and it wasn't even what I asked for.

Thats easy I went to a non-lockup Art Carr for even faster spool(no clutch lighter converter)!

ok how do i put this. i would try to word things alittle different. if it wasnt what you wanted you should have told them.your the customer and they will make whatever you want. did u try calling whomever you bought your converter from and ask them if they would restall it? did you explain to them how you felt. it just looks like you are trying to put down the 9X11 converter. as far as you putting down 3000 as the stall you wanted and the paper work said 2800 what did the converter stall to. i just ordered a 9X11 with a stall of 2800-3000. just becuase it says 2800 doesnt mean it is. every car is different and the stall is going to vary. just asking. i know all the guys who sale the 9X11 and know they are all willing to go the extra mile to help the customer out.

Put it however you want,I put exactly what happened. I emailed, then called. Called back to talk to Bruce......I would have to pay for a restall, because it was stalled "to my combo" http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/showthread.php?t=102059

It worked AWESOME with the stk turbo and works ok with my 61. When I do pull it out I will prob go with an Edge 9.5. After some of the comments TCS(Rusty?) made about the Buick crowd I decided to go another route instead of sending it back(and paying)for a restall while my engine was out. He will not get another dime of my $. I had already dropped $3,300 on trans/conv/shipping from PTS and I was spent out.
No you don't get a free restall unless it is wrong for ur combo,no restall if you changed turbos.

Sorry I started this up. :frown: I do know when I bought my 9x11 about 4-5 years ago Bruce USED to give 1 free re-stall with a 9x11 purchase, it was advertised on his site.
