well I put an 8.8 in the Mazda :eek: guess we are staying with the stock rear end ... :eek: thanks for the reply's guy's :cool:

I think that's a pretty good idea. When/If my rear breaks, I plan on putting the same 8.5 back in.

...and.....what happened with the Mazda? Did it blow up? I dont get it.:confused:

Mazda got back here a month ago with the new rear end and a cage . Have to do new fuel lines and brakes .. we " borrowed" the motor for Melissa's car :eek: can't imagine how the Mazda will go :cool: thanks for the replys on the rear end ..:cool:
 
One of the axle vendors, maybe Mark Williams, sells a center section that will let you run the chevy ring and pinion in the Ford axle. Then you would have the best of both worlds! Or at least some of the best.
