Guys, what are your thoughts generally on these cars...how do they stand up to a turbo buick ?

I have an offer to trade my '96 ZX-6R Ninja for a 94 Z28 LT-1 6 speed car. Its got 100,000 miles on it and the guy has just done about 2,000 worth of repairs to it. Exhaust, water pump, plugs, wires, brakes etc.

How quick are they compared to our cars ? I know i'm a lil off topic here guys but I don't know too much about them and I know some of us have them as 2nd cars or know someone with one.

Whats a guy to look for when buying one ??

My buddy got a 95 firebird with an lt1 and I wasn't really inpressed with it. If it had some lt4 top end it would be putting out about 330hp I guess that's better then 240hp. It all depends on if you like your bike.

94 lt1 is 275 hp @5k, and 325 tq @ 2400. A six speed for 94 would also have a 3.42 rear. Performance can vary greatly. So you'll get all kind of people running mid 14's (some even slower especially the a4's w/2.73, and altitude/weather condition), and some into the 13.8. I would say joe average could get low 14's.
