Is there a shield for the r/s upper a - arm that fits the FACTORY a-arm..... i know there are shields for some tubular a-arms... and i have seen the shield which wraps around the DP but, does anybody make a shield for stock a-arms? TIA

check on Kirbans site. I used one but it doesn't fit well with my ATR headers. It would rub and cause false knock so i took it off. But it did do it job while it was on there

Many folks fabricate their own from one of the heat shields that comes with the air bag kits.

They work okay and can be bent/cut/modified to be a universal device.

As long as you have a 1" or so air gap between the bushing and any exhaust.

I have stock A-arms & 3" Houston DP. Made shield from scrap sheet of aluminum & one of those fancy hose clamps used on turbo big-rigs. Painted black to match powder-coated DP. Blends in real-well, can hardly see it, looks stock & works (I think!).
Cut two elongated holes that the clamp will fit thru, bend shield to shape of half-circle, only part around DP is the clamp, & shield has plenty of air space between itself & DP & bushings. Scuze me if misunderstood, but this works for me. G'luck....Ray

I took a nice peice of heat wrap, wrapped complete corner of bushing, and used wire to secure. so far so good!!! holding up fine
