A/C Compresser disengage

I know that when you go to W.O.T. the ECM will disengage the compresser clutch are there any other built in features that will do the same thing ?????

If you have too low a charge, the pressure cycling switch will cause the compressor not to engage.

Along similar lines, does the computer shut off the high speed rad fan at a certain speed?
