A.c compressor pressure switch on 84?

The old compressor did not have a pressure switch on the compressor nor can i find a plug for it on my harness . Also the new compressor doesn't have one either. Was going through the write up for a.c. recharge on gnttype.org and it says theres a pressure switch. Did the 84/85 come with a pressure switch?

There are only a clutch and low pressure switch. No high pressure switch on a HA.
